Free Will Baptist Cemetery, Marker #4

(~1850-1876)

Fronie was born in Beaver River about 1850 and died 10 Aug 1876 in Beaver River of consumption (tuberculosis) at the age of 26. She is the daughter of George and Clarissa (Saunders) Jenkins, near whom she is buried and is named on the same grave marker. Although her grave marker says she died 14 Aug 1876 we are using the 10 Aug date recorded in her death record. Possibly her burial took place on 14 Aug. It appears she was seldom known as Sophronia, ever her death record gives her name simply as Fronie.
