(1838-1888)

Abbie was born in August 1838 and died 12 May 1888, the daughter of John and Sarah (Porter) Tedford. She married at The Ponds (now Dayton), Yarmouth Co, James H Higby (~1838-1919) and had at least two children, one of whom, Maggie, is buried near her mother and named on the same grave marker. Abbie’s husband, James, is buried in Island Cemetery in Port Maitland.
