Zilpha was born about 1794 and died 24 Dec 1842 in her 49th year, the daughter of Eleazer and Mary (Robbins) Crocker.
On 18 June 1813 Zilpha married Abijah Raymond, a farmer, born 10 March 1789 and died in Hebron 18 Nov 1870, the son of Daniel and Rebecca (Crosby) Raymond. We don’t know where he is buried.
Zilpha and Abijah had eleven children, 6 daughters and 5 sons. Their son Eleazer is buried in the Free Will Baptist Cemetery. Following Zilpha’s death Abijah married again and had three more children.
Zilpha is a Mayflower descendant, being descended, through her mother and father, from Mayflower passengers John Howland. and John Tilley. Through her mother he is descended from passenger William Brewster.
